Jack Reacher Movie starring Tom Cruise - One Shot Movie

Actor Tom Cruise got the lead role in Jack Reacher, an upcoming drama thriller movie written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie based on the novel "One Shot" by Lee Child. The story revolves around a former Army cop on the tail of a sniper killing people. The release date of Jack Reacher is set for December 21, 2012.

"A homicide investigator digs deeper into a case involving a trained military sniper who shot five random victims."

The film was initially titled "One Shot", like the novel. But they have since officially switched to Jack Reacher, the name of the lead character. I guess they intend to build a franchise.
